A gift of formulation

Kuni Formula was born from my experience in cosmetic formulation, my frustration with how raw ingredients are often packaged, and the difficulty of finding suppliers that offer low-quantity raw ingredients.As a cosmetic formulator, I wanted something more thoughtful, efficient, and aligned with the real process of creating. I found that many containers were not practical for quick or smooth formulation, and that most suppliers were not offering low-quantity ingredients, which made it harder to try new ingredients.From that realization, Kuni Formula was created.The name Kuni was given to me by my grandmother. It means “gift” in Mooré, and it carries deep personal meaning, reflecting my roots in Burkina Faso, a country known for its rich tradition and for being one of the world’s leading producers of shea butter.Kuni Formula exists to make formulation easier, especially for those who are just starting and need access to smaller quantities of raw ingredients. It offers raw and ready-to-use ingredients, along with formulation materials, all packaged in a way that simplifies the creative process.Kuni Formula is more than a brand. It is a response to a real need and a commitment to making formulation feel more seamless, refined, and accessible.
